A new event for Barre: all Barre Town/City Yard Sale on Main Street and throughout the region. Good Shepherd will hold a Flea Market Sale, so come on by. If you can help out or have items to donate, please speak with Rev. Kooperkamp. We will hold this fundraising event rain or shine. This event is sponsored by the Rotary Club as a fundraiser for the Boy Scout Memorial to be erected in Depot Square in the Fall.

The Barre Area Senior Center currently serves over 310 members, most of whom reside in Barre City and Barre Town, as well as seniors from various central Vermont towns, including Berlin, Montpelier, Plainfield, Orange, Washington, Williamstown and East Calais. BASC relies on donations, fundraisers, voter-approved funding, and endowment gifts.
